I wrote this tune on guitar with a delay pedal set to triplets way back in 1998. Years later I was sitting in the studio, messing around with synth and decided to arrange the tune in ProTools, mixing live guitars with synth. The result was, well, kinda trippy. The obvious next step was to add Isaac Azimov saying something profound-sounding, but there was still something missing. Common greetings in Indonesian, recorded by Phil Salazar and me, played backwards, ended up being the answer.
The original tune was written for dear family friend, Marilyn Banman.
